Overview of Services

Metabolic Function: The core offers targeted an non-targeted methods using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry systems to perform metabolic phenotyping of amino acids, free fatty acids, sphingolipid ceramides, lipoprotein ceramides, fatty acylcarnitines, phospholipids, and diacyglycerols.

Mitochondrial Phenotyping: The core provides support for mitochondrial phenotyping including purification of mitochondria and analysis of size and internal complexity, metabolic assays of respiration on tissue slices or cells using Seahorse assays, and other activities
